1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of BooksReading.com and any purchase made through it. The site is operated by BooksReading.
By using the site, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase, or 16 with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By ordering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the payment method used belongs to you, or is used with the owner's permission.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at service@booksreading.com if you believe someone else has accessed it. We may suspend or close accounts used to breach these Terms, and may withdraw access to previously purchased files where an account is closed for abuse.
4. Our products
Every product sold is a digital ebook, delivered as a download and stored in your account library. Nothing is shipped physically. Product pages state the available file formats, and it is your responsibility to confirm your device or reading software supports the format before purchasing.
Our titles are published by BooksReading, which owns or controls all rights in them. Cover images, page counts, and sample content are provided in good faith and may differ slightly from the final file.
5. Orders, prices, and payment
- All prices are shown in United States Dollars unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Charges appear on your statement as BOOKSREADING.COM.
- Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and the file is made available in your account. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example where a pricing error or a suspected fraudulent transaction arises. If we cancel, you are refunded in full.
- Prices may change at any time. The price you pay is the price displayed at the moment of purchase.
- You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or bank charges applicable in your country, unless we are required to collect them at checkout, in which case they are shown before payment.
6. Delivery and continued access
Access is granted immediately after payment. The title is added to your account library and a download link is emailed to you.
- Your library is permanent. You may re-download any purchased title from your account at any time, as long as your account remains open and in good standing.
- Emailed download links expire after 7 days. This protects your purchase from being forwarded and used by others. After a link expires, sign in and download from your library instead.
- We may occasionally need to move, replace, or update a file. Where a title is withdrawn from sale, existing purchasers keep access, except where we are legally required to remove it.
If you have not received access within one hour of payment, check your spam folder and then contact service@booksreading.com. We resolve delivery failures at no cost to you.
7. Your licence to use what you buy
When you purchase an ebook you are buying a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it. You are not buying ownership of the work.
You may: download the file to your own devices, read it as often as you like, and keep a personal backup copy.
You may not:
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the file, in whole or in part.
- Upload it to file sharing sites, torrent networks, publicly shared cloud folders, messaging groups, or any platform where others can obtain it.
- Share your account credentials so that others can download your purchases.
- Reproduce substantial extracts publicly, in print or online, beyond short quotations with attribution.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notice, watermark, or embedded identifier in the file.
- Use the content commercially, including in paid courses, coaching material, client deliverables, or resale bundles.
- Use the content to train, fine tune, or otherwise develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.
- Translate, adapt, or create derivative works for distribution.
Files are traceable. Each downloaded copy carries an identifier linked to the purchasing account. Where we find files traced to an account circulating without authorisation, we may close that account without refund and pursue any remedies available to us.
8. Intellectual property
All content on BooksReading.com, including the ebooks, cover art, site design, logo, text, and graphics, is owned by BooksReading or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.
9. Reviews and user submitted content
If you submit a review, rating, or comment, you grant us a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual licence to display, reproduce, and use it in connection with promoting the site and its titles, including in marketing material.
You agree your submissions will not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, misleading, or infringing, and will not contain spam, advertising, or other people's personal data. We may decline to publish or remove any submission. Reviews are accepted only from verified purchasers, and we do not offer payment, discounts, or free titles in exchange for reviews.
10. No professional advice
Our catalogue includes titles on nutrition, fitness, finance, parenting, health, religion, and personal development. This content is provided for general information and education only. It is not medical, nutritional, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
Do not disregard, delay, or replace professional advice because of something you read in one of our titles. Before acting on health, dietary, exercise, financial, or parenting guidance, consult an appropriately qualified practitioner. Individual results vary, and we make no promise that any method, plan, recipe, or strategy described in a title will produce a particular outcome for you.

11. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any title will meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the site, a purchase, or these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity, or any loss arising from your reliance on the content of a title.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BooksReading, its officers, employees, and partners from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of purchased content, or your infringement of a third party's rights.
14. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15. Third party links
The site may link to third party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, attempt to defraud us, distribute purchased files, abuse our support team, or file a chargeback without contacting us first. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The revised version applies from the date posted, and continued use of the site after that date constitutes acceptance. Completed purchases are governed by the Terms in force at the time of purchase.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and we agree to attempt resolution in good faith before starting formal proceedings.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally, this clause does not remove that right.

19. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
